Description
This wall mounted coat rack is made of solid beech wood with a natural oil finish. The rack measures 18 inches (45.7 cm) in length, 3 inches (7.6 cm) in width, and 2 inches (5 cm) in depth including the hooks. Five double-pronged hooks are evenly spaced along the wooden backplate. Each hook is made of zinc alloy with a brushed nickel finish. The distance between the two prongs on each hook is 0.8 inches (2 cm), allowing belts or scarves to be hung without slipping off. The wooden backplate has three pre-drilled mounting holes (diameter 0.2 inches / 5 mm) for screws. Wall anchors and screws are included, but the user must ensure they are suitable for their wall type (drywall, concrete, or wood studs). The maximum recommended load is 25 lbs (11.3 kg) distributed across all five hooks, with no single hook exceeding 8 lbs (3.6 kg). This product is intended for light to medium weight coats, hats, keys, dog leashes, and bags. It is not designed for heavy workwear or wet raincoats. The beech wood surface is resistant to minor impacts but can be scratched by sharp objects. To clean, use a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid water or solvents, as the oil finish is water-resistant but not waterproof. The zinc alloy hooks are rust-resistant for indoor use but should not be installed in bathrooms with constant steam. Installation requires a drill, a level, and a screwdriver (not included). The product does not come with a template, so the user should measure carefully. The rack is not suitable for mounting on glass, wallpaper, or unsecured plaster. Once installed, the hooks hold items firmly; do not swing on or pull downward with excessive force. This product is ideal for narrow entryways, dorm rooms, or behind a door.
