Description
This floor standing coat rack combines a garment hanging section with an integrated umbrella holder. The main frame is made of powder-coated steel in a dark gray finish. Total height is 65 inches (165 cm). The top section features six rotating hooks (each hook can spin 360 degrees but stays in position when weight is applied). The central pole diameter is 1.2 inches (3 cm). The base is a rectangular steel tray measuring 12 x 8 inches (30.5 x 20.3 cm) with a raised lip of 2 inches (5 cm) to contain water drips from umbrellas. Inside the tray, there is a removable plastic drip cup for easy cleaning. The base tray itself is weighted with a 3 lb (1.4 kg) steel plate for stability. The overall weight of the rack is 9 lbs (4.1 kg). Maximum load capacity is 25 lbs (11.3 kg) distributed among the hooks, and the umbrella tray can hold up to 4 standard umbrellas or 2 larger golf umbrellas. The hooks are made of die-cast aluminum with rubberized tips. The rack does not require assembly except for inserting the central pole into the base (push-fit with a locking ring). The product is intended for use near entryways, in mudrooms, or office reception areas. It is suitable for hanging coats, scarves, hats, and also for storing wet umbrellas without dripping on the floor. The plastic drip cup should be emptied periodically to prevent overflow. The powder-coated steel is rust-resistant for indoor use, but prolonged exposure to standing water in the tray (if the drip cup is not used) may cause corrosion. Do not place the rack on uneven carpet, as the rectangular base may wobble. Clean the steel frame with a damp cloth; the plastic cup can be washed with soap and water. This product is not a toy and should be kept away from children who might pull the rack over. For added safety, the manufacturer recommends positioning the rack against a wall.
