Description
This metal coat rack is constructed from tubular steel with a matte black powder coat finish. The total height is 69 inches (175 cm). The central pole has a diameter of 1 inch (2.5 cm). The base is a circular steel disc with a diameter of 15 inches (38 cm) and a weight of 4 lbs (1.8 kg) to lower the center of gravity. Twelve hooks are arranged in two tiers: six hooks on the upper tier at 65 inches (165 cm) height, and six hooks on the lower tier at 48 inches (122 cm) height. Each hook is welded to the pole and extends 3.5 inches (9 cm). The hooks are made of solid steel rod with rounded tips to prevent fabric snagging. The overall weight of the rack is 7 lbs (3.2 kg). The maximum load capacity is 30 lbs (13.6 kg) total, with no more than 3 lbs (1.4 kg) per hook due to the narrow hook profile. This rack is best suited for lightweight garments such as shirts, blazers, lightweight jackets, caps, and umbrellas. The lower hooks are convenient for children’s items or shorter accessories. The powder coat finish resists minor scratches but can be chipped by heavy impact. To clean, wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately. No assembly is required except attaching the base plate to the pole using the pre-installed screw (tighten by hand). The product arrives in a single cardboard box. Because of the circular disc base, the rack is relatively stable on hard flooring, but it may tip if a heavy coat is hung only on one side and the floor is uneven. Do not use this rack for hanging soaking wet clothing, as water dripping onto the base may cause rust over time (the steel is not stainless). Recommended for indoor use only, such as in hallways, studio apartments, or retail fitting rooms.
